Initiating New Service

Chesnee residents and businesses wishing to establish telephone service for the first time with Chesnee Communications must visit our office at 208 S. Alabama Avenue in Chesnee.  This allows us to verify your identity, run a credit check, order your services, and collect any necessary deposits, installation and service charges.

To speed your initial meeting with one of our customer service agents, we suggest that you download and print our full service application before visiting our office.  Please fill in as much of the information as possible before arriving.  If you have any questions about the necessary information, you can reach us at 864-461-2211 or ask when you come in. 

When coming to our office to initiate your service, you’ll need to bring the following items:

• Valid driver’s license (or other government-issued picture ID)
• Valid Social Security card (or an official document showing your Social Security number)
• Cash, check or credit card to pay installation charges, deposit and first month of service
• Completed service application (optional)
