President’s Welcome

Greetings from Chesnee Communications, and welcome to our website. We’re quite proud of our online identity. We think our site is a helpful resource for you to learn about all the things going on in telecommunications and about the exciting services Chesnee Communications offers. At the same time, we’re also pleased to have our website serve as a showcase for our community – the people and landmarks that make Spartanburg and Cherokee counties so special. We’ve been part of this community for more than 75 years, and telecom changes or not, our commitment to our community remains steadfast! As a result, the Chesnee service mission has not changed – and never will.

With all that’s happening in telecommunications these days, it’s never been more important for us to connect with our customers. In rural South Carolina and across the nation, telecom providers and customers alike confront a whole new set of challenges set in motion by competition, new government policies, and incredible technological advancements. We’re learning to cope with these new business rules and how they affect your access to the services that technology makes possible.

Chesnee Communications has always maintained a simple philosophy: to provide a variety of services, at an affordable price, to the community we serve. We’ve introduced an exciting array of new services and offerings rivaling those seen in any market in the country: Double Play and Triple Play service bundles, high-speed Internet services with speeds up to 6 Meg, and most recently our new HDTV package.  While these services symbolize all that’s “new” in telecom, they also reflect our long-held commitment to you and to our community. You will always be able to count on Chesnee for dependable, high-quality, affordable services. As we have since the beginning, Chesnee pledges to deliver all that telecom promises and to make a difference in our community’s life.
