Initiating New Service
Residents and businesses in Chesnee Communications' service area wishing to establish telecom service for the first time must visit our office at 208 S. Alabama Avenue in Chesnee. During your visit, we will verify your identity; run a credit check; order the services you want; and collect any necessary deposits, installation and service charges.
To speed your initial meeting with one of our customer service representatives, we recommend that you download and print our service application before visiting our office. Please complete as much of the information as possible before arriving. If you have any questions about the required information, you can call us at 864-461-2211, or ask when you come in.
When coming to our office to initiate service, you need to bring the following items:
- Valid driver’s license (or other government-issued picture ID)
- Valid Social Security card (or an official document showing your Social Security number)
- Cash, check, or credit card to pay installation charges, deposit, and first month of service payment
- Completed service application (optional)
