To do our part in keeping the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) to a minimum, we have closed our office to the public and ask our customers to conduct Chesnee Communications business over the phone by calling 864-461-2211 or online at chesnet.net through April 3.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC.gov) is keeping updated information on their website and we are closely monitoring it for the latest news on the virus.

Chesnee Communications offers a variety of ways to access your account or make a payment:

  • Call 864-461-2211. You will need your account number.
  • Click PAY/VIEW MY BILL at the top of the page. Login to our online portal. If you don’t have an online account, you can set one up from there. You will need your invoice number and bill amount due.
  • Drop box access is available at our downtown Chesnee office.

Communications and Video Accessibility Act Compliance

The Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act (CVAA) became law in 2010.  The CVAA updates federal communications law to increase the access of persons with disabilities to modern communications.  The CVAA ensures that accessibility laws enacted in the 1980s and 1990s are updated for 21st century technologies including new digital, broadband, and mobile innovations. Chesnee Communications complies with the CVAA and the required accessibility features for individuals who are blind or visually impaired are available upon request. If you are in need of these accessibility features, please stop by one of our customer center locations or call 864-461-2211 and ask for the Talking Guide solution. A Chesnee Communications representative will work with you to schedule an appointment for a technician to come and install your Talking Guide enabled set top box.

Once your Talking Guide is enabled and as you navigate through the user interface, the set top box will “read” the text of the item selected. It will also inform the user of context switches and actions.
